Rarely can success be attributed to a single person or organization. Such is true for the programs at Joe Foss at Axtell that have inspired students, given them new direction, and built a community of "cheerleaders" who answer the call whenever and wherever it is needed.
In early March, these community and building partners were recognized for generously sharing their expertise with our Joe Foss students for anywhere from 3 to 10+ years. They have been part of the Joe Foss counseling initiatives in some way throughout a span of 25 years, providing education/support services to Joe Foss students through the following activities:
- Living On My Own Group
- Vision & Voice
- Second Chances Musical
- Career Education for Young Women-Dream It Be It
- Joe Foss Scholarship sponsor
- Sheds of Hope,
- Joe Foss Racquetball tournaments
